CPAexcel Announces New IQEX Course for Canadian Chartered Accountants!
Now Canadian Chartered Accountants Can Study Only Those Topics They Need to Pass the International Uniform Certified Public Accountant Qualification Examination, Not the Entire Encyclopedia of Accounting Knowledge!
SEDONA, AZ, June 10, 2010 /Post Graduate PR News/ -- Efficient Learning Systems, Inc., the parent company of CPAexcel, announces the 2010 IQEX CPA Exam Review Course for Canadian Chartered Accountants (CAs).
IQEX ("eye-kex") is the International Uniform Certified Public Accountant Qualification Examination. The IQEX Exam is offered every fall at Prometric centers in the U.S and Canada.
The 150 multiple choice questions cover all aspects of U.S. business law, professional standards, and U.S. taxation codes—a subset of the entire U.S. CPA Exam. While the IQEX Exam takes 4.5 hours to complete, the entire CPA Exam takes 14 hours.
IQEX is designed to evaluate an accountant's professional competence as delineated by the U.S. International Qualifications Appraisal Board. The board will evaluate the applicant's education, examination scores, and experience to determine if the applicant meets requirements which are substantially equivalent to United States CPAs.
This CPAexcel course is designed specifically to meet the needs of licensed Chartered Accountants from Canada because it focuses on what accountants need to know to pass this exam, not the entire accounting encyclopedia of knowledge.
Many Canadian Chartered Accountants meet the requirements to sit for the exam without additional college courses or work experience.
There is a proviso: only an accountant who was educated in Canada before becoming a CA can qualify for IQEX. Otherwise, the person can still qualify to sit for the entire CPA Exam.
