Hialeah Councilwoman Vivian Casals-Muņoz Joins Dade Medical College Staff
City of Hialeah Councilwoman Vivian Casals-Muņoz is Dade Medical College's new Corporate Director of Community Relations, responsible for building & maintaining relationships with area schools, hospitals, clinics, businesses & other organizations.
MIAMI, FL, January 16, 2010 /Post Graduate PR News/ -- City of Hialeah Councilwoman Vivian Casals-Muņoz is Dade Medical College's new Corporate Director of Community Relations. She will be working with Vice President of Community Relations and former Florida State Representative Rene Garcia in building and maintaining relationships with area schools, hospitals, clinics, businesses and other organizations.

Born in Miami and raised in Hialeah, Casals-Muņoz was appointed to the Hialeah City Council in 2006 and was elected to it the following year. She most recently owned and operated a real estate title company in Hialeah, has been active in school PTAs and in the Florida League of Cities as a member of several key committees. She also sat on Miami-Dade County's board of the Educational Excellence School Advisory Council (ESSAC) for 2 years. Vivian is the Board Chair of the Hialeah Chapter of the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life.
She additionally participated in the Miami-Dade County Public Schools Listener Program. Casals-Muņoz, a one-time member of the City of Hialeah's Planning and Zoning Board, is a member and Chair of the Business and Economic Advisory Committee and part of the Historic Preservation Board. Casals-Muņoz is married to Geny Muņoz and is mother to two teenage sons, Christopher and Matthew.

Founded in 1999, the school currently has four campuses. The main campus is located at 3721-1 NW 7th Street, Miami, FL 33126. The Hialeah Campus (built in 2007) is located at 2750 W 68th Street, Suite 202, Hialeah, FL 33016. The Homestead Campus (2009) is located at 381 N Krome Ave, Homestead, FL 33030 and a brand new Hollywood Campus is now housed at 6837 Taft Street, Hollywood, FL 33024. Dade Medical College's programs of study include Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography, Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound, General Radiologic Technologist, Massage Therapy and Medical Assistant. Additionally, the School of Nursing offers a Practical Nursing diploma program from the Miami, Hialeah and Homestead campuses and a new Registered Nurse Associate of Science degree program from the Miami and Hialeah campuses. Dade Medical College will soon be introducing a new Healthcare Management Associate of Science degree program.
Dade Medical College is accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools and the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (Miami Campus) and is licensed by the Florida Commission for Independent Education. Dade Medical College has also been approved by the Florida Board of Nursing, the Florida Board of Massage and is a member of the Florida Association of Postsecondary Schools and Colleges.
